10 Reasons why you should join feed your caddy

The Northamptonshire Waste Partnership is delighted to announce the first set of I’m In to Win prize winners!

So to celebrate, we have put together our top 10 reasons why you too should sign up at

I’m In to Win encourages people to take advantage of their kerbside food waste recycling schemes and each month, four people are selected to win prizes ranging from free leisure centre passes to experiences and days out as well as vouchers for local shops and restaurants. 


 10. Recycling your food waste means it is diverted from landfill or other waste disposal treatments.

 9. Be powered by peelings! Your food waste can be turned into electricity.


 8. Your food waste can be recycled into compost or fertiliser to make more lovely food.


7. It is cheaper to recycle food waste than dispose of it.

So recycling saves money for your council that can be spent on other services.

6. The entire scheme has been funded by a grant from government.
